Dave Makerewich is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical industry, with over 15 years of experience in various roles ranging from sales to product management. As the President and Founder of Maven, a healthcare agency based in Toronto, Dave leads a team of 30 professionals dedicated to reimagining the healthcare marketing experience. Maven, founded in 2016, was born out of a frustration with the traditional agency model and a desire to create a more efficient, collaborative, and client-centered approach specifically tuned to the needs of pharmaceutical marketing in Canada. Dave holds a Master of Biotechnology and an Honors Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from the University of Toronto. His background in biotechnology, coupled with his practical experience in marketing and sales, is further enriched by the entrepreneurial skills and strategic insights gained from founding and growing a remote-first, boutique agency. This unique blend of scientific knowledge and business acumen provides Dave with a unique perspective on the intersection of healthcare and technology.
