Pablo Azcue, MD, PhD, MEng is Franchise Head, Oncology GI & Emerging Portfolio for AstraZeneca. Trained as both a clinician and engineer, he builds cross-functional programs that bring AI from prototype to point of care, resulting in acceleration in time-to-treatment, strengthening guideline-concordant care, and scaling access across health systems. Pablo’s team partners with hospitals, patient groups, and regulators to advance multimodal AI, privacy-preserving data collaboration, and MDT workflow tools. He leads the GI oncology business across Europe and Canada, following earlier leadership global and clinical development roles. At the conference, Pablo will address his Nature paper on Multimodal AI in oncology, outlining a practical path from pilots to regulatory-grade, real-world impact. He lives in Switzerland and enjoys the mountains.

Dave Drodge

Group Lead Digital Transformation #AI & Digital Marketing, Roche

David has spent the last 25 years co-creating the future through digital transformation, working across seven industries and global organizations including Sony, Amadeus, Novartis, and WWF (the Panda not the wrestlers). Now leading Roche’s digital transformation strategy with a focus on AI, he brings deep expertise across marketing, product, and innovation.

Cristina Valencia, PhDc, MSc.

Associate Director, Evidence Generation Team, Global Medical Affairs, Vaccine Business Unit, Takeda

Cristina is an epidemiologist currently completing her PhD at Columbia University. She is an alumna of the European Programme for Interventional Epidemiology Training, where she focused on strengthening immunization programs and combating antimicrobial resistance.She has held roles across several pharmaceutical companies and now works at Takeda Pharmaceuticals, leading multiple real-world evidence studies evaluating the effectiveness, safety, and impact of the TAK-003 dengue vaccine.Previously, Cristina served as a technical officer for the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Zika Response Task Force and led the World Health Organization’s Go.Data digital health unit, designing innovative solutions to support countries in collecting and analyzing COVID-19 epidemiological data.Cristina has published numerous peer-reviewed papers, including in The Lancet, on the application of digital health technologies to strengthen surveillance systems and improve routine immunization data collection.

Angela Hutse

Global Marketing Leader, Bayer

Angela Hutse is a Global Marketing Leader at Bayer Pharmaceuticals, with experience in women’s health, oncology, and ophthalmology. She is dedicated to driving meaningful change in healthcare through strategic communications and brand leadership that improves patient outcomes, especially for underserved and undervalued populations.

Currently, Angela is supporting the global launch preparation for a targeted therapy for HER2-mutant non-small cell lung cancer, expanding Bayer’s oncology portfolio in an area with high unmet medical needs. She has previously led the global activation of a Women’s Healthcare campaign that reinforced Bayer’s commitment to enhancing women’s lives and has driven digital transformation initiatives in ophthalmology to boost engagement with healthcare professionals.

Angela believes in the power of marketing as a force for better health, connecting strategy with purpose to serve those who need it most.
