Ridwaan Jhetam obtained his Master’s Degree in Clinical Oncology from the University of Birmingham in the UK having qualified as a Medical Doctor at the Nelson Mandela School of Medicine, University of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. His further qualifications include post graduate degree in Pharmacology and an MBA. Over 22 years’ of Pharma industry experience in Global, Regional & Local roles across Medical Affairs and Clinical Research and Clinical Development through all clinical phases of drug development life-cycle bringing solid understanding of drug development, medical governance, product commercialization, lifecycle management and healthcare systems in US, Canada, Europe and Emerging Markets, having built and led motivated and high performing teams on three continents. Experience spans hematology/oncology and supportive care products (including biologics, cytotoxics, targeted therapy, small molecules, Immunotherapies and more recently Car-T Cell therapies). Visiting Senior Lecturer at Kings College, London in the Department of cancer and Pharmaceutical Sciences in the faculty of Life Sciences and medicine.
