Briana (Pereira) Belford

Briana leads the growth of large, enterprise client engagements, spanning across our core and custom research & analytics offerings. With 12+ years of experience in social and multi-method research and analytics specific to the healthcare industry, she is passionate about helping clients become more data-driven and building scalable solutions to support clients’ goals. Briana studied Linguistics at Georgetown University, where she specialized in discourse and conversation analysis. She has applied this expertise in both academic and professional settlings, analyzing medical discourse for in-office doctor-patient interactions, call centers, online discussions across communities of patients, caregivers, and physicians, and across clients’ own engagement data ecosystems. She interprets clients’ communications, marketing, and medical challenges through a socio-linguistic lens, and her purpose is always to weed out the noise to uncover the stories and experiences that matter most. Her areas of experience span all major therapeutic areas and key audiences, and in addition to custom insights services, she serves as an executive consultant on implementing AI-enabled insights workflows and operating models across the agency and within client centers of excellence. Outside of work, Briana enjoys spending time in nature and traveling with her husband and two young children.
